At Youth Campaign for Education and Development in Nigeria, we believe that collaboration is key to achieving our mission of empowering youth through education and development. With this in mind, our team recently paid a visit to Jimmik Surestart Schools Gaduwa Estate Apo district of Abuja Nigeria where we had the privilege of discussing potential partnerships for the betterment of students.
Our delegation, led by the Executive Director Engr. Ikechukwu Franklyn Igwe met with the school’s esteemed proprietress Mrs. Rosemary Akintunde to explore avenues of cooperation. The agenda was clear: how can we work together to enhance the educational experience and overall development of the students under our care?
Our project for the final quarter of the year entails visiting local schools in the Federal Capital Territory both private and public schools to introduce our organization and initiate discussions about prospective partnerships for students development programs scheduled for the upcoming year within primary and secondary schools.
During the meeting, we exchanged ideas, explored opportunities for mentorship programs, and discussed the importance of promoting skills development alongside traditional education. The proprietress, who shares our passion for nurturing future leaders, expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration.
Our visit was not only about discussing partnerships but also about building relationships. We expressed our gratitude to the proprietress who is not only a youth enthusiast and community developer but a mother to many and urged her to keep up the good work. We learned about the school’s unique strengths and challenges and how we, as an organization, can complement and support their efforts. It was a fruitful and inspiring conversation.
As we departed, we left with a sense of optimism and a shared commitment to creating a brighter future for the students. Partnerships like these exemplify our dedication to empowering youth and fostering positive change.
