Sudo Africa provides the infrastructure for organizations to instantly issue both physical and virtual NGN and USD programmable cards. We are in search of a Growth Specialist to drive our growth marketing initiatives for new and existing products.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Growth Specialist at Sudo Africa.

The Growth Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing growth strategies, conducting market research, analyzing data and user feedback, managing projects, and collaborating with teams to achieve company growth objectives.

The Growth Specialist will be focused on customer and user acquisition, activation, retention, and upsell.

As a Growth Specialist at Sudo, your primary duties include:

  • Optimizing yield across channels through A/B testing, ROI analysis, and experimental campaign design.
  • Developing and executing the short-term and long-term growth strategy.
  • Working with data science/analytics to develop real-time performance marketing reports.
  • Optimizing web pages for copy, metadata, internal and external links, and landing pages for search.
  • Set up, manage, and monitor the day-to-day performance of paid acquisition campaigns across multiple channels – SEM and social channels.
  • Monitor SEM health via Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, and related software & reporting tools
  • Capitalize on popular trends and brainstorm ideas to attract PR and attention from creators.
  • Experiment with new channels to develop promising acquisition campaigns.
  • Collaborating with the management to develop strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Leading a team of creatives to achieve the company’s growth goal.

Qualifications

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct market research and analyze data to inform growth strategies.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Growth Hacking: Knowledge of and experience in growth hacking to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Sales: Experience in sales and customer acquisition to drive revenue growth and meet performance objectives.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage projects and timelines to achieve company objectives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field and 3 – 6 years of work experience as a Growth Specialist or similar role in a technology company. Experience with B2B or retail fintech products is an added advantage.
  • Experience working in a startup environment is a plus.
