The Collibra UX team is designing world-class enterprise products and seeks a skilled and passionate UI designer for that effort. Reporting to a Manager of User Experience, you will dive deep with global teammates in Research, Writing, Design Ops, Product Management, and Engineering.

UI Designer’s At Collibra Are Responsible For

  • Being an advocate and enabler of our customers and users. You know the importance and power of good design, and you strive for great outcomes.
  • Reflecting your love for detail in the design and documentation of critical elements and detailed behaviors of our product so we can achieve better quality and scale.
  • Envisioning and crafting new product concepts and information design alongside multidisciplinary team members in order to create beneficial, robust, accessible, and high-performing interactions.

You Have

  • 3-5 years of experience designing web-based business software products, or equivalent
  • A bachelor’s degree in graphic design, a related field, or equivalent experience
  • A portfolio of full-lifecycle, goal-centered interface design work in complex domains for web, desktop, and mobile
  • The ability to collect and synthesize feedback and input from users, research, leadership, product management, and engineering teams and then incorporate that into our designs
  • The ability to express a clear design direction along with tactics for implementation and to gain stakeholder agreement
  • Fluency in U.S. or British English

You Are

  • Skilled in visual design and able to demonstrate your expertise through scenarios, design concepts, and lo- and high-fidelity mockups
  • Capable of collaborating with interdependent multidisciplinary teams
  • Experienced in applying modern design systems
  • Experienced in working within brand guidelines to create experiences that reinforce a brand’s style or voice through its visual touchpoints
  • Proficient in modern design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma), prototyping tools (e.g. InVision, Principle), and project management tools (e.g. Asana, Jira)
  • Capable of designing sophisticated products for global markets
  • Experienced in conceiving and delivering non-obvious designs for products and features
  • Able to explain design rationale to peers
  • Able to use your knowledge and capabilities in more than one design subdiscipline

Reporting to the UX manager, measures of success will be:

  • Month 1: Go deep into onboarding and diving into product knowledge
  • Month 2: Explore and understand product UX priorities; participate in all design team activities; work on a small initial product design project
  • Month 3: Design, document, and get buy-in for a contribution to a larger project
