What We’re Looking For
We’re in search of an adept Web Developer who is not only proficient in using Elementor for WordPress but also versed in the principles of ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant website development.
This role is critical for our upcoming project aimed at developing an accessible, user-friendly, and visually appealing website for an architectural firm.
You’ll leverage your technical skills and knowledge of web accessibility standards to ensure our digital content is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement responsive websites using WordPress and Elementor, ensuring high performance and fantastic user experience.
- Apply best practices for ADA compliance to all web development projects, making sure websites are accessible to users with a range of disabilities.
- Collaborate with the design team to convert designs into live, functional websites that adhere to both aesthetic and accessibility standards.
- Conduct accessibility audits of existing and new web pages to identify areas for improvement and ensure ongoing compliance with ADA guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with web development trends, Elementor updates, and ADA compliance requirements to continually enhance our web offerings.
- Work closely with clients and project managers to fully understand their needs and provide expert guidance on web accessibility and design.
- Manage multiple project timelines efficiently, ensuring all deliverables meet or exceed quality standards within designated deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Web Developer with specific expertise in WordPress and Elementor.
- Strong understanding of ADA compliance standards for web development and a track record of creating accessible websites.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, with a keen eye for design and user experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to address accessibility issues creatively and effectively.
- Strong portfolio showcasing successful web projects that highlight your skills in Elementor, WordPress, and ADA compliance.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly articulating technical and design concepts.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage tasks independently.
