The Afro-Tech Girls/IHS Towers Scrum Training seeks to equip chosen participants with a foundational skill set in scrum, with outstanding candidates having the opportunity to receive a scholarship toward a global certification examination.

Afro-Tech Girls, a Nigerian non-profit organization created in 2015 to enhance the engagement of girls and young women in STEM, has teamed with IHS Nigeria to deliver four weeks of scrum training at no cost to selected female Nigerian graduates.

The training is fully – remote and beginner-friendly. It is aimed at preparing selected candidates to sit for a global certification examination.

Requirements:

To be considered for the Afro-Tech Girls/IHS Towers Scrum Training:

Must be a recent graduate
Must have a functional laptop
Must commit to completing the 4 week training including projects
Must be self-starter, eager to learn and possess grit
