About the 3MTT Training 2023
In October of 2023, NITDA opened the portal for the 3 Million Technical Training Program (3MTT) whose aim is to train young Nigerians in the following tech skills:
- Software Development
- UI/UX Design
- Data Analysis & Visualisation
- Quality Assurance
- Product Management
- Data Science
- Animation
- Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning
- Cybersecurity
- Game Development
- Cloud Computing
- Dev Ops
The agency has so far received 1m+ applications for the 3MTT program.
For the second phase of the registration process, NITDA sent the following emails to registered candidates:
As part of the process, you are required to complete your profile on the 3MTT (Three Million Technical Talent) portal.
Kindly update your profile, confirm the course you would like to study, your experience level and complete a questionnaire. Please note that the responses you provide during this phase will not be used for assessment, but will help us understand how to design the best learning pathway for you.
The next steps are crucial to finalizing your participation in the programme:
- Verify Email: Please use the email address you provided during the application process to complete your registration using this link: https://b.link/3MTTregister
- Create Password: After verifying your email address, you will be prompted to create a secure password. This will be your key to accessing the 3MTT portal and its resources.
- Complete Application: Once you have successfully signed in and created your password, you will be required to provide additional information to complete your application. This will include confirming your course, experience level and taking the questionnaire.
Please note that you will need to complete your application by 11:59pm on Sunday 12th November, 2023 to be considered for the phase of 30,000 fellows (representing 1% of our 3 Million target). The first phase of 30,000 fellows will be informed by November 15th, 2023.
For applicants who may not be selected into this 1st training phase, your application will be in queue for the next batch and you will also be a part of our learning community where we will be providing learning support and additional resources to you.

What Should You do to get Selected for the 3MTT Training 2023(With Screenshots)?
To get selected for the 3MTT Training 2023, complete the following steps on or beforeNovemebr 12th, 2023
Step 1: Verify your Email and Create a Password
The first thing you need to do is verify your email by clicking this link. Once you verify your email, you’ll be asked set a password and verify a password for your account. This would be the password you’ll use to log in to your 3MTT account.
Step 2: Log in to your Dashboard
Log in to your 3mtt dashboard using the password you just created. Here’s how the dashboard looks like:
You’ll see that on the left hand side, your application status says application incomplete. That’s because they’re a few thing you need to do before your application is complete.
Step 3: Verify Your preferred course of study
When you were registering you must have selected a course of study. Here’s a chance to either change or verify your course. So in this step, you verify your course. You’ll be asked to select from one of the following:
- Software Development
- UI/UX Design
- Data Analysis & Visualisation
- Quality Assurance
- Product Management
- Data Science
- Animation
- Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning
- Cybersecurity
- Game Development
- Cloud Computing
- Dev Ops
After you select your preferred course, you’ll be required to enter your experience level: beginner, intermediate or advanced. Here’s how it looks like:
Step 4: Answer questionnaire
Next, you’re required to answer a questionnaiare. It consists of 13 questions in 10 minutes. According to NITDA, the questionnaire is not for assessment purposes, but to be used to design your learning experience.
Step 5: Take A skill Test
This skill test is based on your selected course and experience level. Again it is not for assessment purposes but to design a suitable learning experience for you. 15 questions in 5 minutes.
After taking the skill test, your application status should be application completed, like this:
