UNICEF StartUp Lab Accelerator Programme 2024 for Social Impact Startups

Applications to the UNICEF StartUp Lab Accelerator Programme are now available. UNICEF StartUp Lab, inaugurated in 2019, is a six-month accelerator program for transformative entrepreneurs and businesses advancing Sustainable Development Goals for children and youth.

The initiative is led by UNICEF in Ghana, supported by KOICA and implemented by MEST Africa. It offers a one-of-a-kind service by combining intensive, hands-on business acceleration with extensive technical expertise and systems knowledge in the social sector, led by UNICEF experts in Education, Health & Nutrition, Social Policy & Protection, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), and Child Protection. Participants have access to individual mentorship, a network of UN System partners, prototype funds, and a variety of other support resources.

Designed to catalyze growth and innovation, the programme targets impact-driven startups in Ghana with a technology-centric approach.
