Tony Elumelu Foundation Grant 2024 | $5,000 and Entrepreneurship Mentorship

The Tony Elumelu Foundation is the leading philanthropy empowering a new generation of African entrepreneurs, driving poverty eradication, catalyzing job creation across all 54 African countries, and ensuring inclusive economic empowerment.

Since the launch of the TEF Entrepreneurship Programme in 2015, the Foundation has trained over 1.5 million young Africans on its digital hub, TEFConnect, and disbursed nearly USD$100 million in direct funding to 18,000 African women and men, who have collectively created over 400,000 direct and indirect jobs.

The Foundationโ€™s mission is rooted in Africapitalism, which positions the private sector, and most importantly entrepreneurs, as the catalyst for the social and economic development of the African continent.

Eligibility TEFconnectย  entrepreneurship program;

  • Interested applicants must have already existing innovative businesses in the gestation stage of 0 to 3 years or have a very viable business idea. The business or business idea must also be profitable.
  • The applicant must be an African startup entrepreneur that has a business or business idea based in Africa.
  • Applicants with businesses will be counted valid as long as they meet the criteria irrespective of the sector.
  • Applicants with Businesses or those with viable business ideas must make sure the business can create employment.

Federal Government Technical Entrepreneurship Skill Grant 2024

In a bid to foster technical, vocational, and entrepreneurial skills among Nigerian youths, the Office of the Senior Special Adviser to the President on Technical, Vocational, and Entrepreneurship Education (SSATVEE) has announced the commencement of the 2024 Federal Government Technical/Entrepreneurship Skill Grant program.

Geared towards individuals aged 18 to 40, this initiative aims to provide a substantial boost to aspiring innovators and business owners across the nation.

The Federal Government Technical/Entrepreneurship Skill Grant is a programme open to Nigerian Youth to showcase their Technical or Entrepreneurship Skill to receive a grant of N500,000 business start-up kit.

NG-Cares Business Fund 2024 | N50,000 to N250,000 for Entrepreneurs

The NG-Cares Business Fund 2024 is a transformative initiative designed to address the challenges of poverty and unemployment within communities.

By extending financial support ranging from #50,000 to #250,000, the program empowers individuals and caters to the needs of small, independent specialists.

To qualify for this assistance, entrepreneurs must have their businesses or professions duly registered with government bodies such as CAC, TAX, SEMEDAN, etc.

This initiative, sponsored by the World Bank, reflects a commitment to fostering economic growth and stability. It provides a significant opportunity for entrepreneurs to enhance their existing businesses or embark on new ventures.

The program will provide financial support from 20k, 50k, 100k to 250k to entrepreneurs who need to improve their business or start a business.

The United States African Development Foundation (USADF), in partnership with the United States Department of State Africa Bureau, invites applications for the 2024 African Women Entrepreneurs Program-Reimagined grant.

This is the second application cycle for this grant and only applicants from the following countries may apply: Namibia; Mauritania; Senegal; Cote dโ€™Ivoire; Malawi; Uganda; and Zambia.

Eligibility

Applicants must be woman-owned to be considered and 100% African-owned and managed; legally registered and operating in the country from which they make an application, with basic functional management and financial controls for at least 3 years and a banking history of no less than 12 months.
