Job Description

• As the Social Media Editor at Aura Magazine, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our digital presence and engaging with our community across various social media platforms.
• You will be responsible for crafting compelling content, developing strategic campaigns, and fostering meaningful interactions with our audience.
• We are seeking a creative and driven individual with a passion for wellness and a keen understanding of social media trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Aura Magazine’s brand identity and objectives.
• Create engaging and relevant content for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Plan and schedule social media posts, ensuring consistent and timely delivery of content.
• Monitor social media channels for trends, insights, and opportunities for engagement.
• Manage community interactions, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with the editorial team to coordinate content calendars and promote featured articles, interviews, and events.
• Analyze social media performance metrics and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in social media marketing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing / Communications / Journalism, or a related field.
• Proven experience in social media management, preferably in the wellness or lifestyle industry.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to craft compelling and concise copy for social media posts.
• Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
• Creative thinking and a passion for storytelling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with graphic design principles and basic photo editing skills are a plus.
