O Positiv is a Los Angeles-based health & wellness brand built on the idea that small acts of self-care produce positive outcomes. We’ve created the first-ever PMS gummy vitamin, FLO Vitamins, designed to make periods and the symptoms that come with them more tolerable. Our team is small-yet-mighty, with big ambitions and an entrepreneurial spirit. We are an early-stage startup gaining serious traction (check us out in Forbes’ top trends in women’s health), with a strong brand presence and some amazing advisors. Your Role
O Positiv is looking for a freelance blog content writer to join our team of creatives. The candidate will use current SEO best practices to write relevant, relatable articles for the O Positiv blog—a space that offers helpful, health-related resources, and fun, shareable reads. The role reports to the Senior Copywriter.
- Rate: Looking for $175-$200 per blog post
- Location: (Remote) Santa Monica, CA
- Quantity: Looking for 2 blogs per month for now, possibly moving up to 4.
- Word Count: Each article aims to be 750-1000 words (can be fewer if in Listicle format)
We focus on 3 general topics:
- Health Education
- (relating back to our products and/or ingredients)
- Work/Relationship Advice
- Product reviews
- (top 5 tampon brands, best & worst period products, etc.)
- (doesn’t have to be related to periods, looking to expand to anything that even loosely relates to women’s health)
Reference the O Positiv blog here.
Specific topic/title ideas will be supplied. Writer should have up-to-date SEO knowledge that is injected throughout the piece (without keyword stuffing) and be able to supply 3 SEO title options, as well as an SEO meta-description for Google.
