The Africa Blockchain Incubation Program is a 6-month incubator program that aims to encourage and grow the continent’s future generation of blockchain pioneers. This is the fourth round of the program, which has successfully nurtured various blockchain startups from Africa.
The Incubation Program aims to stimulate innovation and strengthen Africa’s position in the global blockchain ecosystem. Selected participants will receive training, mentoring, and resources to help them realize their ideas.

Eligibility Criteria
The Africa Blockchain Incubation Program is looking for ambitious individuals that are forward-thinking, innovative, and ready to take up challenges in creating the next Big Thing. These individuals must be dedicated and committed to the project, hardworking, and with strong backgrounds in computer science (with expertise in Object Oriented Languages), mathematics, statistics, business/entrepreneurship, economics, cryptography, blockchain, and any other related fields.
- Must be between 20 – 35 years of age.
- Priorities are given to Female Applications.
- Strong business case and market potential.
- Both idea-stage and early-stage (1 year) companies are encouraged to apply.

Timeline
- Applications Opens : Open Enrollment for a Limited Time. 1st – 31st January 2024
- Selection and Notification: Applicants who successfully qualify will receive notification of their selection by this deadline. 1st – 28th February 2024
- Incubation Program: Experience a 4-month program crafting and launching your blockchain projects. 1st March 2024 – 30th June 2024
- Demo Day: The program ends with Demo Day, allowing startups to showcase to the ecosystem. June 2024
- Post-Incubation: After the incubation, candidates enjoy post-incubation supports. July 2024
