Job Description of the Technical Writer/Publisher at Early Code
- As our Technical Writer and Publisher, you’ll be crucial in bridging the gap between our complex technologies and our users.
- You’ll be responsible for creating, editing, and publishing a wide range of technical documentation that is accurate, easy to understand, and visually appealing.
Your key Responsibilities as a Technical Writer/Publisher at Early Code will include:
- Developing and maintaining high-quality technical documentation, including articles, landing page content, guides, FAQs, etc.
- Collaborating closely with managers, instructors, developers, and support teams to gather information and understand product functionalities.
- Translating complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly language for various target audiences.
- Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established style guides and branding guidelines across all documentation.
- Managing the publication process, including formatting, layout, and publishing documentation across different platforms (e.g., web portals, socials, in-app).
- Conducting peer reviews of other technical writers’ work and incorporating feedback.
- Continuously improving documentation based on user feedback and product updates.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a candidate with a strong blend of technical understanding and exceptional communication skills. You should have:
- Proven experience (1+ years)Â as a Technical Writer, Technical Communicator, or similar role, preferably in tech or ICT.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a keen eye for detail, grammar, and punctuation.
- Ability to understand complex technical concepts and explain them simply and clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
