Role Description of the Remote Front-End Engineer at Bill Station
- We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Engineer (Mobile Applications) with strong expertise in Flutter to join our development team.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in mobile/front-end development, with proven success in building and scaling fintech products.
- You will play a critical role in enhancing, maintaining, and expanding our mobile app, ensuring it is user-friendly, secure, and visually engaging.
Key Responsibilities of the Remote Front-End Engineer at Bill Station
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter .
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Translate wireframes and design mockups into responsive, functional applications.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize app performance for speed and reliability.
- Implement secure coding practices to ensure compliance with fintech industry standards (KYC, AML, GDPR).
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of code quality through reviews, testing, and best practices.
- Take ownership of project deliverables, ensuring timely and professional execution.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in mobile or front-end development, with at least 3+ years focused on Flutter.
- Strong background in the fintech industry (payments, wallets, trading, or financial applications).
- Deep understanding of mobile application architecture, state management (Bloc, Provider, Riverpod, etc.), and RESTful API integration.
- Familiarity with payment systems, digital wallets, or cryptocurrency integration is a plus.
- Strong proficiency with Git/GitHub and version control workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and within a collaborative team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in Dart and hybrid app development.
- Experience with Firebase, push notifications, and app security protocols.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Proven experience deploying apps to Google Play Store and Apple App Store .
