TechCrush Graduates Over 1000 Scholars From the Tech4Africans Scholarship Africa’s greatest strength lies in its youth – talented, ambitious, and eager to shape the future. Yet, without access to the right opportunities, many struggle to break into the thriving tech industry. The Tech4Africans Scholarship has been a game-changer, empowering young Africans with the skills, mentorship, and real-world experience needed to thrive in today’s digital economy. This year, over 1,700 scholars from 15+ countries successfully completed the intensive training program, mastering in-demand tech skills and working on hands-on projects. Many of them work at top companies like Opay, ExxonMobil, First Bank, Flutterwave, Moniepoint, and more. As they graduate and take the next step in their careers, it’s time to celebrate their journey, their achievements, and the bright future ahead. What is the Tech4Africans Scholarship Bootcamp? You may have heard the buzz about the Tech4Africans Scholarship.  The Tech4Africans Scholarship Program is an initiative by TechCrush, an internationally accredited edutech institution, by the American Council of Training and Development (ACTD). Designed to bridge Africa’s digital skills gap, the program provides accessible, high-quality tech education to young Africans from diverse backgrounds. Scholars gain in-demand skills in backend development, frontend development, UI/UX design, data analytics, product management, product design, data science and cybersecurity. The goal is to equip the next generation of tech professionals and innovators who will shape Africa’s digital future. A Journey of Growth, Learning, and Transformation For many of the scholars, the Tech4Africans Scholarship powered by TechCrush was more than just a learning experience, it was a life-changing opportunity. Over the 15 weeks, they immersed themselves in intensive training, balancing their studies with personal and professional commitments. While some came from backgrounds in finance, energy, and telecommunications, others also included students, stay at home moms while others were just beginning their journey into the world of technology. Regardless of where they started, they all shared a common goal – to gain the skills needed to create a better future for themselves and their communities. Through a hands-on, project-based approach, scholars tackled real-world challenges in in-demand tech fields like software development, cybersecurity, frontend development, product design,product management, data analytics, backend development and data science. They collaborated on capstone projects, applied problem-solving strategies, and received mentorship from industry experts. The experience also equipped them with the technical knowledge and also helped them build resilience, teamwork, and the confidence to take on new challenges in tech. During the graduation ceremony held on X, outstanding students from different tech trachs were rewarded with cash prizes and other mouth watering opportunities. Additionally, the graduates were inducted into the TechCrush Alumni community to further guide them on their tech journey. As they graduate from the program, these scholars are stepping into a future filled with endless possibilities. Some will apply their skills in their current workplaces, bringing fresh perspectives to major corporations. Others will venture into entrepreneurship, using their knowledge to develop innovative solutions for local and global challenges. 2025 Nippon Foundation Training Program in Germany For Developing Countries  The Purpose of this Program is to invite candidates from developing countries who are working on issues related to the law of the sea, maritime law, or dispute settlement. The program aims to develop the skills and deepen their knowledge of dispute settlement in the law of the sea under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS). The Training Program also includes a visit to other Countries in Europe like the Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, and Germany. There is no application fee and all participant’s costs including Travel, accommodation, insurance, and stipend are covered by the Nippon Foundation. Features of the Program Participants will spend 9 Months in Hamburg. Participants will attend lectures inter alia, on the law of the sea, dispute settlement, and environmental law.
