Job Description
YAP Media is hiring a Organic Social Media Content Manager to craft compelling, high-impact content for our clientele of Best-Selling Authors, CEOs, and 8-figure Business Owners. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between project management for accounts and writing engaging, one-of-a-kind copy that brings our clients’ personal brand strategies to life on LinkedIn and Instagram.
We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and skilled writer who has a passion for business and professional development content.As a key member of our social media team, your writing will be the voice of our clients’ brands. You’ll collaborate with strategists and designers to develop posts that position our clients as thought leaders while driving results like post engagement, audience growth, and conversions. From hitting deadlines to communicating with the clients, your work will be crucial to driving a meaningful impact for our clients and their businesses.
This role offers excellent opportunities for professional growth. You’ll write for high-profile clients, helping to amplify established personal brands and build new ones from scratch. You’ll also work hand-in-hand with strategists to manage account projects, continually growing in a dynamic, fast-paced environment surrounded by a supportive and talented team, with exposure to company executives and owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Post Quality Assurance. Ensure that daily LinkedIn and Instagram posts are published correctly each morning.
- Low-Level Client Communications. Handle day-to-day communications with clients regarding routine updates, content approvals, and minor queries. Ensure prompt and professional responses to maintain strong client relationships.
- Trends and Client Research. Weekly research to identify emerging trends relevant to each client’s platforms. Provide insights to inform content strategy and ensure the content remains current and engaging. Ensure client content trackers and story journals are updated bi-weekly.
- Content Creation. Take ownership of creating 1-2 posts per platform per client each week. Ensure each post aligns with the client’s content pillars and is crafted with attention to detail and creativity. On-deck for last-minute client requests each day (i.e. timely content, urgent announcements, etc).
- Weekly Content Finalization. Oversee the finalization of all weekly content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to the client’s brand guidelines. Ensure that all content is polished and ready for final internal review.
- Client Edits and Scheduling. Confirm and notify the team of client edits to content, as well as finalization of revisions. Schedule posts or livestreams as relevant, ensuring timely execution. Available for last-minute post requests from clients.
- Content Integrity. Ensure that each post aligns with the client’s content pillars and that all sources are properly cited. Verify that content is original and free from plagiarism.
- Analytics Monitoring. Ensure that analytics are updated every week, providing accurate and timely data to inform future content strategies.
Qualifications:
- Able to work 9am-5pm ET M-F.
- 1+ year of organic social media copywriting experience.
- 0+1 year of project management or account management experience.
- Thorough understanding of LinkedIn and Instagram platforms + algorithms.
- Consistent: Demonstrates reliability in completing tasks on time and meeting expectations regularly. Maintains a steady level of quality and performance in all aspects of work, ensuring that deadlines and commitments are consistently met.
- Attention to Detail: Does not let important details slip through the cracks. Able to follow instructions and delicate processes with minimal mistakes.
- Service Minded: Demonstrates pride in providing the highest quality service to all stakeholders including clients and company team members.
- Autonomous: Able to complete recurring daily, weekly, and monthly tasks independently without having to be reminded by other team members.
- Creative: Actively researching new asset/copywriting trends to test for clients. Create novel, unique content for clients based on their expertise, stories, and priorities.
Results:
- Do not allow any emails or slack messages to sit unanswered for more than ½ a business day.
- Internal and external content deadlines are 100% hit each week, every week.
- 100% of client post analytics are collected each week, providing actionable insights that inform content strategy.
- 95% of copy does not require revisions due to grammatical errors, typos, or factual inaccuracies.
- Amount of revisions per week per client is less than 10%.
- All tasks related to content creation, from ideation to finalization, are executed with precision and efficiency. This results in a streamlined workflow, high-quality output, and overall client satisfaction.
- Each client has a consistent stream of high-quality, on-brand posts that align with their content pillars, resulting in increased engagement, follower growth, and overall brand visibility on all platforms.
- All content is finalized and delivered on schedule, with no errors or inconsistencies. Edits are implemented accurately, and content is scheduled or posted without any delays, ensuring a smooth content workflow.
