Job Details:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our logistics unit. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth and cost-effective flow of goods, manage transportation and distribution activities, and lead a team to meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with existing transporters and arrange new ones as needed to fulfil daily operational requirements for trucks and tankers.
  •  Monitor and maintain accurate records of material dispatches and receipts.
  • Track the status of current contracts, manage new contract onboarding, and ensure timely renewals.
  • Identify and onboard new transporters and tanker owners to expand the logistics network.
  •  Verify Goods in Transit (GIT) insurance coverage for each transporter and ensure timely renewals.
  • Provide daily updates on truck availability to meet operational demands.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of logistics routes across Nigeria, transporter networks, and current freight rates.
  • Prior experience in a similar logistics or transportation role is required.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  •  Proven experience (3+ years) in logistics or supply chain supervision.
  •  Strong leadership and team management skills.
  •  Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in logistics software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Knowledge of transportation management, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Salary: 200k-300k
