Job Description
We’re looking for a creative, fast-moving YouTube Thumbnail Editor with a sharp eye for compelling design and content performance. You’ll work closely with Adeife Adeoye to create scroll-stopping thumbnails that attract views, increase click-through rates (CTR), and elevate the visual identity of the channel.                                                      If you know what makes someone pause mid-scroll and click, this role is for you
Key Responsibilities
- Design high-converting thumbnails for weekly YouTube videos based on content topic, tone, and platform trends
- Collaborate with Adeife to brainstorm thumbnail concepts that align with the brand’s visual identity
- Create multiple versions per video to test and optimize CTR performance
- Manipulate and enhance images (face emphasis, lighting, saturation, contrast) to boost clickability
- Add bold, readable text elements and graphic overlays while maintaining design consistency
- Analyze thumbnail performance using YouTube analytics and implement design improvements based on results
- Stay updated on design trends across top-performing YouTube channels (especially in personal branding, education, lifestyle, and digital business)
- Deliver fast turnarounds, ideally within 24–48 hours of video brief or script
- Maintain an organized library of past designs, templates, and source files.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 plus years experience in digital design, content creation, or YouTube thumbnail design
- Strong portfolio of YouTube thumbnails or similar high-impact visuals
- Expert in design tools (Photoshop, Canva Pro, Figma, or any other fast-rendering software)
- Understands design psychology for digital audiences, contrast, emotion, curiosity, color theory
- Strong sense of typography, spacing, and composition
- Able to balance brand consistency with creative innovation
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and responsive.
