FME TVET Industry Mapping Initiative 2025

The Federal Ministry of Education has announced an Industry Mapping Sensitisation programme aimed at equipping Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) students with practical, industry-ready skills through structured workplace experience.

The programme will cover training in 18 current trade courses and introduce 14 emerging courses from 2026.

The government will cover training fees, pay monthly stipends to students and provide guidance to industries on effective mentorship.

Sensitisation meetings are scheduled for August in Abuja, Lagos, Kano, Yola, Port Harcourt, and Enugu, with participation open to small, medium, and large-scale industries across the country.

Benefits of the FME TVET Industry Mapping Initiative 2025
