Note: This role is open exclusively to Nigerian nationals and residents with valid permits. It is not an expatriate position.

Role Overview

The Design & Visualisation Officer will be responsible for developing visually compelling and impactful materials that communicate 3iS’s data, training content, and project results to stakeholders and donors.

The officer will play a key role in ensuring clarity, engagement, and branding consistency across all communication materials.

Key Responsibilities

1. Training Material Design

  • Develop engaging training content (infographics, presentations, handouts) aligned with project branding.
  • Design workshop visuals (banners, signage, participant kits) for in-person and virtual sessions.

2. Data Visualization & Mapping

  • Create dashboards, maps, and infographics to communicate IM data (e.g., coverage analysis, gap assessments).
  • Collaborate with the Capacity Building (CB) team to ensure accuracy and clarity.

3. Communication & Reporting

  • Design impactful presentations for stakeholders.
  • Produce visually appealing reports, incorporating charts, graphics, and photography.
  • Develop factsheets and infographics to summarize survey findings and lessons learned.

4. Centralized Information Hub Support

  • Contribute to the visual design and layout of the Centralized Information Hub platform.

5. Branding & Consistency

  • Ensure all outputs strictly follow 3iS and donor branding guidelines (e.g., ECHO).

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience designing for humanitarian and/or development projects.

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Canva, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Basic GIS skills (ArcGIS, QGIS) for map design are desirable.

Soft Skills

  • Creativity with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to simplify complex data into clear and engaging visuals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
