2025 Wilson and Yinka Badejo Scholarship for Nigerian Undergraduates 

2025 Wilson and Yinka Badejo Scholarship for Nigerian Undergraduates  The Wilson and Yinka Badejo Foundation Educational Assistance Programme offers scholarships every year to brilliant indigent students who are pursuing their dream of completing their higher education. The Wilson and Yinka Badejo Scholarship have provided over 500+ scholarships to students from poor backgrounds since the inception of this programme in 2008. The scholarship is targeted towards academically sound students planning to attend (or already attending) a public tertiary institution and students must fulfil all eligibility requirements before their application can be considered by the scholarship board of the Wilson & Yinka Badejo Foundation. Scholarship Categories Legacy Scholarship The Legacy scholarship is the existing student scholarship which the foundation has offered since 2008. It is designed to provide financial support and assistance to brilliant indigent students pursuing a higher education degree at any public tertiary institution (i.e. Universities, Polytechnics, or Colleges of Education). This is a non-renewable (one time) scholarship. Nurturing Hearts Scholarship (For FEMALES between ages 18 – 28 ONLY) The Nurturing Hearts scholarship is a new scholarship category launched this year in honour of our co-founder; Rev. Mrs. Adeyinka Badejo. It is designed to assist and encourage young females (between ages 18 – 28) who have a keen interest in children’s ministry work. Yobe State Government Scholarship 2025 for Nigerian Undergraduates As part of the corporate responsibility to help indigenous students of Yobe, the state government has organized a yearly scholarship award for all interested eligible students to apply. The state has been known as one of the most consistent in terms of offering scholarship opportunities for its indigenes. Every year the government through the Ministry of Education budgets a certain amount of money for this scholarship scheme. Recently the Governor of Yobe State, His Excellency Governor Mai Mala Buni approved the sum of 800 million naira to award free education scholarships to about 316 Yobe state indigene, to study in some designated fields in various countries abroad. This is part of the state government’s efforts to train qualified students in various fields like medicine, engineering, and arts. 2025 Indian Council for Cultural Relations Scholarship (ICCR) For African Students Applications for the 2025 Indian Government ICCR Scholarships have been announced. Administered by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), this scholarship program covers undergraduate, postgraduate, and higher courses in various disciplines. The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) was founded in 1950 by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, independent India’s first Education Minister. Students wishing to study performing arts should, if possible, enclose video/ audio cassettes of their recorded performances. Candidates must have adequate knowledge of English. ICCR will not entertain applications which are sent to ICCR directly by the students or which are sent by local Embassies/High Commissions in New Delhi. Priority will be given to students who have never studied in India before. No application will be accepted for admission to courses in MBBS/MD or Dentistry/Nursing. Candidates may note that Indian universities/educational institution are autonomous and independent and hence have their own eligibility criteria which have to be fulfilled. Please also note that acceptance of application by the University is also not a guarantee of admission. A scholarship is awarded only when admission is confirmed by ICCR. Student must carry a proper visa. Students should ensure that they get the correct visa from the Indian Embassy/High Commission. Government of India guideline stipulate that if a scholar arrives without proper visa and his/her actual admission at the University/Institute does not materialize, he/she will be deported to his/her country. Before departing for India the scholars should seek a full briefing from the Indian Diplomatic Mission in their country about living conditions in India/the details of scholarship/the type and duration of the course to which he/she is admitted. 2025 Foursquare Gospel Church National Scholarship For Nigerian Undergraduate Students The Foursquare National Scholarship Board is an all-inclusive and equitable scholarship program, ensuring that Foursquare members and students from various ethnic backgrounds across Nigeria can excel in a merit-based and compassionate educational support initiative. 2025 Foursquare Gospel Church National Scholarship Summary Type: Undergraduate scholarship Eligible Country: Nigeria Sponsor: Foursquare Gospel Church Scholarship Benefit: Full expenses covered till the end of program Deadline: March 25, 2025 2025 Foursquare Gospel Church National Scholarship Requirements  To qualify for the Foursquare National Scholarship Award, applicants must meet the following criteria: Financial Need Applicants must be indigent, with verifiable proof of financial inability to meet educational expenses. Institutional Eligibility Only students enrolled in Federal or State universities, polytechnics, and other recognized tertiary institutions are eligible to apply. Secondary school applicants must be enrolled in a State-owned institution. Students of McPherson University are also eligible to apply. Renewal Criteria Undergraduate awardees must maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.5/5 (Second Class Upper Division) for scholarship renewal. Secondary school awardees must maintain a minimum cumulative percentage of 70% to continue receiving the scholarship. Age Limit Undergraduate applicants must not be older than 27 years. Secondary school applicants must not be older than 20 years. Benefits The Foursquare National Scholarship will cover the full expenses of your education until you graduate provided you maintain the required CGPA. Guidelines: Qualified applicants will undergo an aptitude test administered by an independent body, and must score an average of 75% Successful written test candidates will be invited for oral interviews with an independent panel, with their decisions being final. We may conduct due diligence to verify applicant claims and documents. Only successful candidates will be notified of their scholarship awards.
