The research involves advanced nanofabrication in state-of-the-art research facilities, and magneto-transport measurements utilizing low-temperature cryostats. It also includes data analysis, physical interpretation of the results and writing research articles. More specifically, spin surfaces of magnetic topological insulators will be probed and novel spintronics devices based on gate-dependent measurements in these intrinsic magnetic topological insulators

EFA Scholarship Presents: European Forum Alpbach Scholarship 2025 in Austria Every year, hundreds of young talents from all around the world come to the annual event in the village of Alpbach. Students, young professionals and changemakers attend scientific, competence based and artistic seminars, participate in a high-level conference programme and join social and cultural activities. Call for Applications: 2025 UN Youth Biosecurity Fellowship in Switzerland Organized by the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs in Geneva, in partnership with key international actors that empower youth in science diplomacy and global biosecurity, the Youth for Biosecurity Fellowship provides a unique learning and networking experience in the framework of the Biological Weapons Convention. Launched in 2019 as a Biosecurity Diplomacy Workshop, the Youth for Biosecurity Initiative organized its first fellowship in 2023. For the third edition, the fellowship will provide the opportunity for 20 competitively selected young scientists from the Global South to join an online interactive training programme prior to a field visit during the meeting of the BWC Working Group on the Strengthening of the Convention in Geneva. 2025 Mediterranean Machine Learning Summer School (M2L) in Split, Croatia The Mediterranean Machine Learning (M2L) Summer School offers a focused 5-day program of keynotes, lectures, and practical sessions led by experienced AI experts from around the world. Participants will engage with state-of-the-art content and code, and are encouraged to optionally present their work during poster sessions. This is a unique opportunity to showcase research and receive early feedback from peers and experts. Networking is also facilitated through social or cultural activities, as well as informal interactions with speakers, sponsors, and fellow attendees during coffee breaks.
