- Entry-level Nurse/Community Health Worker
Job Description of the Entry Level Laboratory Assistant
Salary: N80,000 – N100,000/month
Deadline: 8th August, 2025
- We are currently hiring fresh graduates for Entry Level Laboratory Assistant.
- These candidates support the laboratory team by assisting with the collection, preparation and analysis of samples from mining processing plant.
- This role involves following instructions accurately, learning new procedures quickly, and ensuring that samples are handled and prepared correctly for analysis.
- The ideal candidate will be eager to be trained, learn, detail-oriented, and capable of following orders effectively.
Key Responsibilities of the Entry Level Laboratory Assistant
- Collect samples from various sources, including ore, crushed stone, and workshop production materials, as directed by senior staff.
- Prepare samples for analysis by following established procedures, including drying, grinding, and labeling.
- Ensure samples are handled properly and in accordance with laboratory protocols.
- Assist with routine laboratory tasks, such as measuring, mixing, and basic testing under the supervision of experienced staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment by following safety and cleanliness procedures.
- Support the setup and calibration of laboratory equipment as needed.
- Quickly learn and adapt to new procedures and techniques as instructed by senior laboratory personnel.
- Follow orders and guidelines precisely to ensure consistency and accuracy in laboratory work.
- Participate in training sessions and seek to improve skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Lab Science or a related field.
- Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
- Fast learner with a willingness to acquire new skills and knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to solve basic chemical equations.
- Should be able to work shifts as required.
Responsibilities of the Entry-level Nurse/Community Health Worker
- Assist in providing basic healthcare services to chinese employees
- Administer first aid and respond to minor medical emergencies
- Monitor health supplies and maintain clinic documentation
- Promote health education and hygienic practices across departments.
Requirements
- Certificate, Diploma in Nursing or Community/Public Health.
- NYSC certificate or exemption letter
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in workplace or community health is an added advantage.
