RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consistently create well-designed, tested code including for mobile and responsive site design using best practices for website development
- Create websites and user interfaces, using standard HTML/CSS practices, while incorporating data from back-end databases and services
- Develop or validate testing schedules, addressing all browsers and devices to ensure various computers can access content
- Collaborate with colleagues, and suggest new solutions to improve existing websites
- Perform UI designs and coding, creating reusable objects and templates, wireframes for web pages and email templates; manage maintenance, updates, expansions, and scaling of each design
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, multimedia design, or related field
- At least 3 years’ experience planning and developing eCommerce websites
- Working knowledge of web applications, Java programming language, and web services, such as APIs, CSS, CSS3, cross-browser compatibility, HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, .JSP, REST, SOAP, and web user interface design (UI)
- Experience with eCommerce Website Development required
- Experience with IBM Websphere required
- Experience with Java and Java Server pages preferred
- Working experience in Linux environments
- Dedication to innovative, sophisticated designs and collaborative problem solving
- Ability to organize one’s own activities and manage multiple priorities independently while also working as an active member on a team
- Ability to work from home (remotely)
