The UI/UX Design Intern is responsible for assisting to take a client’s business objectives and turning them into intuitive, effective designs. They are able to understand and interpret the client’s needs while empathizing with the client’s customers, synthesizing the information, and creating web products. They are capable of helping to create world-class products that meet or exceed the client’s requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist the UX Designers to Develop High-Level Concepts for Projects
- Take briefs from clients and intelligently interrogate them in order to identify and understand the business/user objectives
- Envision usability-focused product experience with the team through presentations and sketches
- Assist in Architecting Proven Information Structures and Produce Product Prototypes
- Develop designs to help the entire product team understand the desired customer experience: maps, flows, wireframes, prototypes and documentation
- Assist in conducting usability testing
- Work closely in team setting to develop the desired experience on time and within budget
- Refine Design Techniques and Processes
- Keep abreast of usability trends in the market and share insights and creative applications
- Work with other concept teammates to identify areas of improvements to existing processes
Experience & Skills
- Graphic Design major preferred

Impressive portfolio demonstrating your design thinking skills on the digital platform

Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentals

Excellent understanding of design principles and great in applying them
- Experience with InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Strong creative and analytical skills
- Compelling portfolio of graphic design work

Ability to manage client expectations and building relationships
