Are you good with using ecel sheets to enter data? There is an on-going 2 months project for data entry:

  • Job: Data Entry Intern
  • Employment type: Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Duration: 2 months

Required:

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Reading comprehension
  • Organization
  • Good communication skills
  • Patience for repetitive work

Resposibility

  • Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders or optical scanners
  • Type in data provided directly from customers
  • Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents
  • Update existing data
  • Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
  • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
  • Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost

Key Requirement

  • Be proficient in statistics and statistical packages like Excel to be used for data set.
  • Have the ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Be adept at using data processing platforms and data visualization softwares
  • Know how to create and apply the most accurate algorithms to datasets in order to find solutions
  • Typing speed and accuracy
  • Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • Attention to detail
  • Confidentiality
  • Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
  • Be a problem solver
  • Have an eye for detail
  • Adept at queries, writing reports, and making presentations
