Responsibilities of the Remote CampusPress Site Specialist at Incsub We’re looking for a person who will be able to also work on weekends and is available to work on the following schedules: 1:30 am – 6:30 pm UTC Utilize FSE themes and a carefully curated set of plugins to architect aesthetically pleasing and functional websites tailored to our client’s needs. Showcase your creativity by crafting engaging and customizable templates within the Full Site Editing environment, contributing to the uniqueness of each project. Infuse accessibility into design aesthetics by expertly writing Custom CSS code, ensuring websites are not only visually appealing but also adhere to inclusive accessibility standards. Foster a collaborative environment by engaging in daily communication with the team. Provide regular updates on project progress, ensuring everyone is aligned and informed. Uphold the quality standards of our websites by meticulously conducting Quality Assurance (QA) checks. Ensure each site meets the highest standards of performance, functionality, and design. Showcase your innovation by implementing custom-made Gutenberg blocks, elevating the websites’ functionality, and offering unique solutions to meet diverse client requirements. Qualifications for the Remote CampusPress Site Specialist at Incsub Demonstrated expertise in customizing WordPress websites using the Block Editor (Gutenberg). Hands-on experience with WordPress themes, plugins, and the overall WordPress ecosystem. Ability to collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WordPress websites. Ability to recreate sites by using WordPress Site Editor themes (i.e. Twenty Twenty-Four)
* Proficiency in using the WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg) to create and customize content layouts without extensive coding. Understanding of Custom CSS for fine-tuning and styling adjustments within the WordPress environment. Strong comprehension of website development principles and best practices, with a focus on non-developer perspectives. Effective written communication skills, enabling seamless collaboration with team members. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to a positive and productive work culture. Previous experience in website design or development, even if it’s at a non-developer level, to understand the workflow and processes. Familiarity with additional web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and PHP, with an emphasis on understanding rather than coding proficiency. A willingness to adapt to evolving technologies and a keen interest in continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends. A problem-solving mindset with the ability to think creatively and find solutions to challenges that may arise during website customization. The 2025 Kofi Annan NextGen Democracy Prize for emerging young Leaders | USD 10,000 Monetary Prize and Fully Funded to the Athens

The Kofi Annan NextGen Democracy Prize for 2025 is now accepting applications. The Kofi Annan Foundation and the Democracy and Culture Foundation are seeking nominations for the third edition of the Kofi Annan NextGen Democracy Award. The Kofi Annan NextGen Democracy Prize aims to: Recognize exceptional intellectual and/or “in action” leadership shown by a young activist in defending, promoting or renewing democracy; Provide the recipient of the prize with support, including through a one-year mentorship with a recognized democracy expert or senior leader; Inspire young people to commit to the advancement of democracy. Requirements Nominees must be aged between 18 and 30 at the time of nomination. There are no restrictions in terms of nationality, gender, or occupation. The Selection Committee will consider the following when deciding the winner: Impact: The nominee’s actions had a demonstrated outcome, for instance, a change in policy in a given country, the rate of participation in elections, the number of people reached through a specific campaign, the number of users of a specific application, the number of students gaining a wider understanding of the importance of the democratic process, the number of community associations engaged in an educational campaign etc. Innovation: The innovative character of these actions. Sustainability: Whether the nominee has advanced the cause of democracy and human rights for a sustained period of one-year minimum, and whether her/his actions are sustainable over time and replicable in other contexts; Values: The values displayed by the Nominee through her/his actions. Benefit: The added value the Award could bring to the nominee in terms of international notoriety and support. Benefits The Prize includes a monetary prize of USD 10,000. The award will be presented at the Athens Democracy Forum, and all travel and accommodation expenses linked to the Awardee’s participation in the Forum will be covered by the organizers.
