About the role

Klasha is in search of a qualified marketing storyteller who will be responsible for writing and editing copies across digital channels, videos, proposals, social networks, blogs, banners and emails, the role requires a deep understanding and thoughtful application of digital content & communication strategy. We are looking for energetic, passionate, and confident candidates who can help turn frowns into life-changing grins.

The marketing storyteller will assist with various functions of the other team members and provide support to our sales department, with a strong focus on creating and shaping branded assets, content and marketing communications messaging for a variety of client accounts.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Generate creative storytelling ideas leading execution of these ideas
  • Ability to create copy that stands out from the crowd
  • Research plan and write content on deadline
  • Create engaging blog and social media content
  • Assist in the general distribution of press releases and media alerts
  • Work well with designers, media planners and marketing specialists to create copy
  • Experienced in working with other teams of creative thinkers, digital marketers and editors
  • Monitor analytics with social media team to identify viable ideas

You should apply if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or public relations
  • Minimum 2-3 years in a copywriting position at an agency or other corporate environment Familiarity with SEO-driven keyword research
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Key Competencies:

  • Experience in content creation, copywriting, editing, marketing, public relations
  • Strong marketing mind with the ability to communicate value to the intended audience
  • Maintain an understanding of emerging digital trends
  • An understanding of current Digital Marketing concepts, strategy and best practices
  • Deep understanding of story fundamentals (effective character, trajectory, hook, authenticity/details and call-to-action)
  • Deep working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Google+
  • Fluent knowledge of English language
