The Festival of Urgent Reinventions is a free two-day virtual event. Part conference and part competition, the festival will feature prominent speakers discussing the world’s most critical systemic issues and attendees creating their solutions. Join to invent, code, design, or build the path to a stronger community—and win $10,000 to put towards it.
The theme of this year’s live online event is “Sign Up, Show Up, Change Your World.”
During the event, you get to discuss your ideas related to Education, Design, Tech, Climate, Agriculture, Entertainment, and Humanity.

The Briefs
During the event, 4 changemakers will host discussions about one of the world’s most urgent systemic issues. Each brief will be shared prior of the event so you have the opportunity to research the areas of concern in advance.

The Process
The entire event will be available to live stream through our website. Slack channels will also be launched as a space for collaboration and inspiration during the event, while Zoom breakout sessions will connect participants with experts and leading organizations in the field.
The Ideas
Open minds and brave visionaries from every discipline — inventors, community organizers, designers, coders, students, and more — are invited to submit. Every idea is a good one. Our open and fair submission process allows for any type of solution to win a prize.
The Awards
Winners will be selected for each brief and receive a cash prize of $10,000, as well as exposure and the opportunity to partner with leading organizations in the field. Winners will also receive a spot in the Make.co Learning Labs Cohort. This series of classes gives creators access to experts and mentors who will work alongside each winner to help push their ideas forward.
An additional $5,000 Community Grant will be awarded to winners affiliated with a club or organization, supporting continued growth and innovation in the creator space.
