Call For Digital Skills Trainers – Cybergirls Fellowship Programme for Nigerian Youths 2021
Applications are invited from interested and qualified candidates to apply For Digital Skills Trainers Cybergirls Fellowship Programme 2021. The Cybersafe foundation in partnership with Aid for Rural Education Access Initiative is organising a digital skill training as part of her Cybergirls Fellowship which is aimed at improving the socio-economic well-being of girls in Nigeria by providing IT high demand skills through intensive training, mentorship and internship/job placement opportunities that will lift them from poverty.
The program also seeks to empower girls from underserved communities with globally sought-after cybersecurity skills through our fellowship program; positioning them to start a career in cybersecurity and seize work opportunities within Nigeria and across the world.
To be eligible for the training, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Can you facilitate engaging digital skills session?
- Are you willing to spare few hours daily for 1 month?
- Do you live in Adamawa, Cross River, Enugu, Kogi, Kaduna, or Oyo States?
- Do you speak the native language of our host states?
This fellowship will produce a crop of very hungry but knowledgeable budding female cybersecurity enthusiasts, who’ll need to get their hands dirty to hone their newly acquired skills in the following niche areas:
- IT security Audit
- Incident Analysis/Response
- Penetration and Vulnerability Testing
- Security Intelligence and Web
- Application Testing.
We are therefore, in need of dedicated Digital Skills trainers across the 6 states (Adamawa, Cross River, Enugu, Kaduna, Kogi, or Oyo State) who will facilitate Digital Literacy Skills Session across 1 month within the entire duration of the programme.
Financial Stipends will be available to cover transportation costs. Trainers will also be provided with exciting branded materials.
