Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a UX/UI Designer Intern with a strong interest and passion for design and development of engaging user experiences for consumers on web and mobile. The ideal candidate must be a self-motivated individual with a willingness to get her/his hands dirty and can dedicate 10-20 hours per week.

This 3-month internship opportunity seeks to help the intern build their profile working for an Europe-based startup, gain work experience and make an impact by becoming part of an innovative product.

Requirements

Support the user experience and interaction design across Bukable’s web and mobile devices
An eye for creating elegant, easy-to-use interfaces for applications with a rich and complex set of features
Design and produce user interfaces and interaction design specifications using participatory and iterative design techniques including stakeholder interviews, usability testing, and other forms of discovery
Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas and detailed design rationale
Strong knowledge of interaction design processes and methodology, particularly as applied to web & mobile products
Ability to understand customer needs, motivations and behaviors and translate them into actionable deliverables

Qualifications

1 – 2 years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, or similar role
Currently enrolled in the university, or recent graduate
Experience with design and prototyping tools and design (including Photoshop, illustrator)
An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating past work and relevant experience
Must have a good command of English to at least B2 level

Benefits

This is an UNPAID opportunity with a discretionary bonus during or upon completion of the internship dependent on your performance. The Internship could lead to a full-time position with the company.
