Key Responsibilities
- Develop software according to functional and technical design specifications and maintain an approach that serves to recognize potential design gaps and provide insight into closing them
- Change request management on applications, software update, upgrades and patches
- Ensure agreed OLA5 and SLA5 are maintained with customers.
- Assess, troubleshoot, document, upgrade and develop maintenance procedures for potential performance issues, reusability, and/or anomalies
- Assess, troubleshoot, document, upgrade and develop maintenance procedures for potential performance issues, reusability, and/or anomalies
- Create efficient, scalable, reusable middle tier logic using any of ASP.NET, VB.NET, Classic ASP, XML C, C#, JavaScript, Python arid other languages as needed.
- Create and design databases, views, stored procedures, T-SQL statements and user- defined functions of varying complexity with a “best practices” approach to keys, indices and relationships in SQL Server.
- Technical documentation of systems
- Contribute to Organization’s quality processes and strive to achieve continuous improvement.
- Have a good understanding of enterprise applications.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- B.Sc / B.Eng. in Computer Science / Engineering, or Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Statistics, Management Information Systems or any Physical Sciences (a minimum of 2nd Class Upper).
- Good experience supporting any CTI tool in dynamic live environments
- Conversant with Cell center operations and trends in the telecommunication industry
- Good experience supporting critical business applications,
- Excellent working knowledge of C#, ASP.Net & JavaScript (JQuery/Ajax)
- Excellent working knowledge of Windows OS, UNIX/Linux , Oracle Microsoft SQL, MYSOL
- Good technical understanding of enterprise applications (ERP5, Finance applications etc)
- Ability to Deploy Web/Windows Service Applications on Windows Servers.
